Carve-tops
Our process of making carve-tops has been perfected over the many years we have been doing it as a family. we take a tree and block it out with the chainsaw keeping a close eye out for the figure content. Then its on to cutting it with the wood-mizer band saw and it gets cut into 1 3/8 in boards, Then it gets stickered for maximum air flow and dried until the moisture content is below 10% and then it get surfaced down to the 1.1 inch that all our carve tops are, Then it gets re-sawed for the best appearance and fitting the template the best way, And after all that we have the beautiful carve-top guitar bodies you see below.
