What is Stabilized wood you might be asking yourself? Well, the process of stabilizing a piece of wood takes place in a vacuum chamber - filled with a thin resin.  When the vacuum pump is turned on, it will suck the air trapped within the wood out - replacing it with the resin.  This process makes the wood denser & much easier to work with.  Helping eliminate worries of moving, splitting or breakage with your project.
